藝術家介紹：史宗玲
自小喜歡繪畫塗鴨，兒時曾接受高雄市天才兒童美術班之訓練，國小與國中曾獲得校內繪畫比賽第一名，就讀高中時，榮獲高雄市壽山寫生比賽優良獎，也入選參加參高雄市救國團暑期美術營隊成果展。大學時代擔任學校西畫社社長，曾在學校圖書館舉辦迎新美展。 後來投入學術研究並至大學任教，因而中斷藝術習作，直至去年退休，才重拾畫筆, 開始油畫創作。
展覽介紹：
此次畫展名為【心動之境】，意指「令人心動之意境、情境與實境」。創作以感動心靈之人、事、物為發想題材，使用寫實手法呈現具相畫面，偏好使用對比顏色與明暗反差產生畫作張力與趣味。展出作品含蓋三大主題：自然美景、溫情關係、日常印記。
自然美景作品強調於有限空間中，營造遼闊之無限空間，以擴展觀者視野，畫作從前端景物延伸至中遠方，提升畫作之層次感，此系列作品包含：〈春櫻〉、〈夏蓮〉、〈秋楓〉、〈冬川〉、〈迎曦〉、〈港口—破曉時分〉、〈晚霞滿天〉、〈漁塭夕輝〉、〈在公園〉、〈碧海連天〉、〈河畔風光〉、〈暮色〉、〈舟〉；溫情關係作品表達觸動心弦之親情，偏用暖色調色彩，傳達人物溫暖愉悅情緒，強化溫馨互動情境，讓觀者感受到親情流動，此系列作品包含：〈暖〉、〈陪伴〉、〈倚靠〉、〈迎接新生命〉；日常印記作品處理生活周遭趣事或引人醒思之處，強調平凡事物，亦可透過藝術媒介產生引人注意之效果，促使觀者從不同視角去看待熟悉事物，此系列作品包含：〈濯足樂〉、〈備冬〉、〈童年〉、〈靜思〉、〈早起的釣客有魚吃〉。
創作過程中，畫者翻閱一張張過去國內外旅遊的照片與親朋好友分享的照片，試圖捕捉觸動心靈之場景，或是勾起連結記憶之心動畫面，畫者相信藝術家是一位「心靈捕手」，採集令人心動之情感，再使用自己的美感符號去詮釋、演譯，最後將景物轉化為線條、光影與色彩之圖象。今日AI甚囂塵上，反璞歸真與手工雕琢更顯珍貴，因此畫者偏好寫實風格。她將藝術創作定位為「唯美寫實派」，雖是模擬真實事物，也經常透過景物改造與多種色彩應用，增加畫面之豐富性與美感。此外，畫者強調畫中注入個人靈魂和情感。對她而言，缺乏藝術家靈魂之繪畫無法打動觀眾。
藝術可作為倡議或宣傳理念之工具，畫者也希望藉由其畫作能夠傳達「藝術療癒」之信念—觀者在賞畫過程，可放鬆心情、平靜心思，進而達到忘我無我之境界，此亦與畫者創作過程之心境互相呼應。

“Heart-Touching Zone” (the exhibition title) represents diverse scenes, atmospheres and situations that touch the human heart. Specifically, they encompass natural scenes that trigger our emotions, daily impressions that inspire our thinking, and family relationship that warms our hearts. These are three major themes in Shih’s paintings, which seek to establish emotional connection with viewers and to provide viewers with some food for thought.  

Shih defines her painting style as “aesthetic realism.” She loves to use contrasting colors and light-and-shade divide to create dynamic effect and artistic interest. Additionally, she loves to use mixed colors to enhance scenic vividness, and carve minute details to generate realistic touch. In an AI-dominated era, many virtual things replace real things, so realistic things become increasingly important and Shih wants to become a realist painter. It is noted that Shih creates paintings with her soul and heart. Shih believes that a painting without an artist’s soul and emotion cannot touch viewers.

Intending to expand the viewer's visual sight and increase the sense of layering, Shih includes front, middle and distant scenes in her landscape painting. In this way, vast and infinite space can be created within the limited space of a picture. The works dealing with family relationship reflect Shih’s outlook on life and happiness. Warm colors are used to present the emotions of characters and highlight the warmth of person-on-person communication. Viewers are expected to experience the family’s affection and support that flow through the entire works. The works on daily impressions record interesting and thought-provoking images we often see and encounter in daily life. They are used to stress that even common people or/and ordinary things can be transformed into meaningful ones through artistic creation. Meanwhile, viewers can look at familiar scenes from a new perspective.  

Art can be used to promote a life philosophy. Shih hopes that her paintings can make viewers understand the value of “art-enabled healing”. By viewing paintings, the viewer's mind can find relaxation and peace, and move into a state of selflessness and carefreeness. This experience of mental transcendence is consistent with Shih’s mental journey of artistic creation.
